The TV series premiered at prime time on China Central Television (CCTV-1) on August 8, 2014. It achieved the highest audience ratings, won wide acclaim and became the most talked-about TV drama of the year.

Winner of 2014 Anhui TV Top Ten National Drama award, 17th Huanding Awards National Audiences' Favorite TV Drama, and Jury's Special Prize at Seoul International Drama Awards 2015.
